 The New Normal: Updating Your Fund Development Plan for Today’s Economy

When was the last time you reviewed your fundraising plan? Maybe you need to start all over? This highly interactive workshop will give you the opportunity to review what worked, what didn't and what you have learned about the fundraising needs and abilities of your organization and leadership. By the end of the workshop everyone will:

• Have a new fundraising plan
• Determine what they need to raise to support their organization
• Know how to diversify their funding bae
• Understand how to engage and empower their board in fundraising
• Know how to effectively and efficiently raise money
• Understand the staffing that is appropriate and necessary to make the fundraising plan work for their agency
• Discuss how the new economy can, may and will impact fundraising
• Understand new trends in fundraising and how to effectively implement those appropriate for your agency
• Understand the fundraising pyramid - a new look at the base and how to engage them
• Determine if fundraising events are as successful as they can be

2010 National Safe Place Conference - Breaking New Ground with Youth

This fall, National Safe Place and SENetwork will be co-hosting the 2010 National Conference in Louisville, KY at the historic Brown Hotel. This years conference will bring together Clinicians, Outreach Workers, Direct Care Staff, Executive and Development Staff, Safe Place Coordinators, and Youth Advocates from all over the country for a high energy, integrated networking, and professional development event. Barbara will be facilitating the fundraising track at the Conference.  More info and registration.
