In this session, Barbara will present the key elements to creating and implementing a special event.  Special events can be a point of entry for many individual donors and corporate partners.  Creating a timeline that allows you to fully engage corporate partners and make sure your Board is involoved is one best practice.  As a point of entry, we will also discuss how to turn diners into donors.  At the conclusion of this webcast, participants will understand how to:

  • Involve the Board and an engaged committee
  • Plan in advance for successful corporate cultivation and partnership
  • Secure the guest of the evening and expectations - to honoree or not to honoree
  • Set a budget and keep it
  • Engage event guests during and after the event
