Hands-On Consulting 

Barbara and Alma work with nonprofit clients to deliver results-oriented fundraising consulting:

• Development planning and audits
• Board fundraising, development and training
• Corporate partnership
• Individual giving
• Grant research and writing

Talisman works with clients on an hourly, project basis or monthly retainer depending on the work and organization budget. All consulting proposals are developed to meet the fundraising, training and coaching needs of each client, their financial and human resources.

On-Line Consulting

Barbara works on-line with nonprofit organizations that have:

• Budgets of less than $1M
• Minimal development staff
• One person development shops

On-line consulting is a cost-effective way to work with Barbara on fundraising, board development and executive coaching. It is a flexible option that helps organizations build their capacity to fundraise!  

Workshops and Training

Talisman customizes workshops for staff, Board and volunteers. The training offers participants the opportunity to learn about fundraising "best practices" - methods that are proven, transferable, flexible and measurable as well as "out of the box" development and leadership ideas that work! With regular speaking engagements worldwide, Barbara is an Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Master Trainer. She committed to advocating standards within the non-profit industry and promoting continuing education for fundraisers. 

Coaching

Staff coaching is an integral part of what Barbara and Alma bring to the table.  An organization is only as good as its people.  Talisman helps staff build on their strengths and offer support and resources for personal and professional growth. Every coaching assignment is unique to the person, their current role and organizational responsibilities.
