Social Media Planning and Implementation
Barbara is working with nonprofit organizations to help them build their social media strategy and messages. Barbara works with staff to:
- Review current social media strategy if there is one in place
- Determine appropriate social network outlets
- Facebook, Twitter etc.
- Blog
- Connecting to website
- Establishing goals, expectations and measurement tools
- Inviting and responding to riends and followers
- Creating a dialogue
- Setting up the social network
- Training staff, volunteers, writers
- Creating messages and timeline
- Schedule of messages
- Determining and recruiting writers
At the conclusion, the nonprofit client has a customized plan they can implement on their own. As always, Barbara develops work based on the human and financial resources available.
This consultation takes approximately 60 days. At the conclusion the agency has a social media plan working in tandem with the communication plan.
Cost of this program is $1,000. For participants of any of Barbara's webcasts the cost is only $750.

On-Line Consulting
Barbara wants to work with nonprofit organizations with budgets of less than $1M, minimal development staff or one fundraising office. On-line consulting is a cost-effective way to work with Barbara to build your capacity to fundraise! On-line consulting includes:
- An hour per month on the phone with Barbara - can be two 30 minute sessions
- On-line group to network and discuss with other development professionals
- Access to fundraising resources, materials, information to help you build your capacity to raise money and suport
- Webicasts with Barbara as scheduled with Forum for Fundraising
- Local AFP dues
$125 per month or $1,250 annually
